# 2. Swap Tokens

I show you exactly how to swap, what I display before you sign, and what happens after confirmation.

Swapping with me is simple on the surface — but behind the scenes I’m optimising the route before you approve execution.

## Swap Process

After connecting your wallet on [InoSwap](https://inoswap.org/): 

1. Choose your routing mode: **Fastest** or **Best Price**
2. Select the token you want to swap from
3. Select the token you want to receive
4. Enter the amount
5. Review the updated estimate, route details, and fees
6. Click **Swap** and confirm in your wallet

You can switch between **Fastest** and **Best Price** at any time before confirming the transaction. Each time you change the mode, InoSwap recalculates the route and updates the estimated output accordingly.

This allows you to compare both optimisation approaches in real time before making your final decision

## After You Confirm

* The transaction is sent to the blockchain
* Confirmation time depends on network conditions
* Once confirmed, received tokens appear in your wallet

**Common situations**

* Estimate changes slightly: liquidity or price moved before you signed
* Large swaps: I may use deeper or multi-step routing
* Failed transaction: funds stay in your wallet <mark style="color:$danger;">(network fees may still apply depending on the chain rules)</mark>
